Today there are a number of clients using Genic DataManager, our flagship data management platform. Back in 2006 was it’s first official release, as a time series database, used to store and manage metering data! It was called Profile Library, and subsequently renamed Genic DataManager in 2007 with the new focus on market data.
Two significant things happened in 2007. We focused our strategy on the Commodity Data Management marketplace (as apposed to Meter Data Management) and we attracted an investor, Jacque Chahine, who has helped immeasurably throughout the years. He remains our only investor and is a board member.
